Ahhhhhh, there is quite a bit that connects us, mija. I too left the corporate grind behind in Dec 2019. I still remember that day, 26 Dec 2019, I left early (ending my contract with BNP Paribas) and headed to Lviv, Ukraine for a tango festival (Remolino).

I took a 2-night side trip to Krakow (I just a few days ago had a piece I want to write on that part). My plan was to continue traveling, build my blog (https://latrekista.com), and figure out how to make a living with I globe trekked.

Bueno, I had zero plan, funds would soon deplete, so I returned to NYC. Went back to Spanish & French interpreting, then the pandemic hit NYC. I moved to Charlotte.
