Resonates with me - I wanted to leave the corporate cubicle for many years. Kept putting it off until I decided in Dec 2019, I was done.

I made excuses because I wasn't financially prepared to leave my cushy life. While I still haven't replaced my former banking salary, I am much more fulfilled.
