Thank you for your piece, Ramsey. There are no words and my heart hurts each time I read about the horrors, the taking of what does not belong to them, the sheer greed and inhumanity of those monsters (and those who support them).

Several weeks ago, as I was preparing fresh home-made lemonade, I sometimes add strawberries (if I am fortunate to have some). A big sadness overcame me as I thought of the countless grandmothers, mothers and fathers in Palestine.

That you are able to share via Medium must mean you are keeping safe (at least physically). I am grateful for this. My heart continues to hold my Palestinian sisters & brothers. I keep hope in my heart to one day visit Palestine, to help rebuild if I am able, to share a cup of tea with Palestinians, maybe even to make lemonade with a local family - to see the smiles on the faces of the children - to hear their laughter and to let them know that so many of us around the world never forgot them.

Sending you a warm hug from Borikén.
