This gave me a smile. I did something similar when I arrived at Misiones with two people I met on the shuttle ride to our hotel.
We hired a driver to take us across the border. We spent about 8 hours - they took us to a show where we ate with about another 150 or more people, I danced on stage, we went to Foz do Iguaçu, we rode in a helicopter (my first time).
I agree with you - for me, there is no "bucket list."
And no, I don't count the airport because it's such a limited experience. I've been to the airport at Zurich and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
