This is such an empowering post. Indeed your people remain & will flourish - the world is waking up to the horrors of the u.s., the u.k. and other countries that deem they are 'civilized.'

By the way, of course you couldn't know this, but I wrote a poem recently and it ends with these same word 'We are still here.'

They (the Spanish colonizers, and now the u.s. oppressors - our 2nd colonizers) tried to erase my valiant & courageous people of Borikén. They did not and will not succeed.

One of my poems (a different one), when I declaim it, ends with #wearenoterased #wewillnotbereplaced.
