Though I'm offended by use of the c-word, I appreciate you sharing this story for reminding the world (as if it needed reminding), that the u.s. of a. is not the most beautiful democracy. It is filled with racist citizens, folks who believe they are 'american' - which is the biggest joke, considering the land belongs only to Native Americans - from whom it was stolen.

I lived in the Austin, Texas for 5 days short of 2 years (2011 - 2013), and more recently (2020 - 2021) in Charlotte, North Carolina. In Texas I heard an older white trash man refer to Obama, using the N-word. In Charlotte, I saw the confederate flag being flown on the lawn of a private house. I was horrified.
