Two points: on this highlighted one, one of my closest friends (a Frenchman of Togolese descent) and I have had many conversations on the topic of how [he has noted] "in France, they claim that racism doesn't exist, but it does."

I'm no expert on "Europe vis-à-vis police brutality," nor do I have statistics, but the case of Adama Traoré, who lost his life while in [French] police custody, is the first that comes to mind. Back in mid-2020, I reached out to his sister, Assa (via IG) because of the murder of George Floyd. Ref article:

The 2nd point is on Black History month. I had one Afro-Puerto Rican person (in news media) tell me how certain African Americans commented to him that (paraphrasing) 'Black History month isn't for Caribbean folks.' He noted that the implication was that our (i.e., Borikén) 'blackness' was not valid.

While I disagree with several of your points, I agree with item #24.

Am curious, you omitted direct mention of both the publication and its founder - why is that?

As I've noted before, Jean-Marc, even when you & I have differences of opinion, we are still able to communicate, respectfully. I appreciate the opportunity to engage in the discussion.

Hasta pronto.

Saludos desde mi hermosa Loíza.
