What Alternative Platform Suggestions Are There to Gumroad?
Please tell me something other than the corporate giant.
Nearly a year and a half ago, (using Canva) I created my first ebook, Pictures From My Mind. I was excited because of the novelty of the project and the possibility to make a bit of cash.
The first platform I tried was Payhip.
It initially worked out fine, bringing me eight sales. Nothing extraordinary, still I was (am) grateful. But then a few months down the road, I had trouble accessing my account, the reset password option didn’t work. So I decided to let it go and switch to Gumroad.
Their dashboard is easy enough to manage, though so far I have zero sales. Yes, I realize it’s not an issue with Gumroad, rather I need to market further.
Have you had success with other platforms? I’m not a fan of giving business to that corporate giant, you know the one that begins with an A. And as for Draft to Digital, they don’t allow pdf versions, so they too are off the list.
